Fit and sizing
Which size do I need?
Go by weight: S is 7–33 lb, M is 33–66 lb, L is 66–132 lb. Between 30 and 36 lb, or 55 and 70 lb? Measure the chest; the chest decides. The size guide has the chart and three examples.
Can you pick the size for me?

Using it
Will it slip?
The rear piece is held on by a loop around each hind leg rather than by friction under the belly. It can still shift if it's loose: tighten until nothing turns when you lift gently, with the loops high on the thigh.
Is it hard to put on?
Chest piece first: clip it around the chest and buckle behind the front legs. Then lay the rear piece across the hips, guide each hind leg through its loop, and buckle. Clip on the shoulder strap last.
Will my dog mind wearing it?
Let your dog sniff it first, then put it on for a minute or two with a treat, before you need it on the stairs. It goes on for the lift and comes off afterwards.
Do I have to bend to lift?
The handle on the rear piece is short, for control. The shoulder strap is the long one, and it adjusts. We'll add its exact length here once we've measured our sample.
How strong is it?
We haven't published a weight figure. We'll run our own load test on our sample first, and we won't print a number before then. Lift with the handles or the strap, never by a buckle, and check every buckle before each lift.
Can my dog wear it all day?
No. Put it on for the stairs or the car, then take it off. Wearing it for hours can rub.
What is it not for?
Front-leg or shoulder injuries, all-day wear, or dogs who need their whole weight carried. If your dog can't bear any weight on the hind legs, ask your vet about a cart. If your dog has just had surgery, ask your vet before using any lifting harness. It's a lifting aid, not a medical device.
Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Typically 2–4 weeks from your order, tracked. It's dispatched from our supplier's warehouse overseas within 1–3 business days (up to 5 at busy times), then shipped to the US and delivered by a US carrier. If you need one this week, please buy locally.
What if it doesn't arrive?
If it hasn't been delivered within 30 days of dispatch, we reship it or refund you in full, your choice.
Swaps, refunds and cancelling
What if the size is wrong?
We send the right size free and you keep the first. One swap per order, within 30 days of delivery. Email your order number, your dog's measurements and a photo of the harness on your dog. Full terms.
What if it arrives damaged?
Damaged, missing a part, or not what the page shows? Send a photo within 30 days of delivery and we refund in full within 7 business days. Nothing to post back.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free, any time before your order is dispatched. Email us as soon as you can.
